Fred is not to be stopped!
Fred Hammond is one of my favorite gospel artists. I've enjoyed and have been blessed by his ministry in song since his days with Commissioned. Of the recordings bearing his name or contribution, my list of "Fred favorites", excluding Commissioned for now, are:

Today, Fred steps up to the plate with a new effort entitled, "Love Unstoppable " and oh yes, Fred delivers! After some recent challenges in his life during the past few years, Fred's undaunted relationship with the Holy Spirit remains evident.

Love Unstoppable opens with a prayer - a sweet prayer, from his cherished offspring, BreeAnn Michelle & Darius Sean Hammond. Everyone is included in this prayer - You, me and even Barack Obama.

Usually, when reviewing a new project, here is where I attempt to dig deep, handing you on a platter exactly who arranged, produced, wrote and song what - but hey, on this occasion, I'm going straight to the chase; purchase the CD, you can read it for yourself.

As overworked and overused as these 2 words may be, I can't help but agree with others that Love Unstoppable is a "MUST HAVE." You don't want to sleep on this project or worse - miss it!

My favorite tracks are -- well, I have none! I like them all and that's quite usual for yours truly.

However, tracks that garnered extra attention from my ears were, "Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me," "Awesome God," "Happy" and "Lost In You Again." The composition, "Lost In You Again," is infectious and will speak to your spirit - that is, if you're truly engaged in the lyrics!

My prayers continue to be with Fred; he's an awesomely gifted brother and friend and all he strives to do with every effort is to direct you and I into an eternally intimate and growing relationship with the Lord he serves, Jesus Christ.

Praise & Worship Unstoppable!
Okay, so I had been waiting/anticipating (as always) on Fred's latest release, and I am in no way dissappointed. Some of the songs are taking a little longer to speak to me, but once again Mr. Hammond delivers a strong album. Now Fred has a way of delivering a ballad that always seem to speak to me; "Take My Hand" - ALL THE LYRICS!! To me, this one of his most powerful ballads, (and I have ALL of the albums) what a powerful song! "Lost In You" - "My search will not end till' I find myself lost in you again" - nuff' said! "Best Thing That Ever Happened" simply because He Is!! And of course you can dance too, "They That Wait" is jumping off with John P. Kee, "Awesome God" will get you dancing and "I Know What He's Done" has that old school church flavor. So, Yes, buy this album, listen to it, then listen to it again, worship, praise, dance and be blessed. Love Ya! DLM

Incredibly- this surpasses Pages of Life !
Well, Lightening Can Strike Twice from the same Vessel! I honestly had thought that Minister Hammond was content to stay in the back seat only producing, given his supreme talent for producing but wow! My oh My!!! I listened to this album when I was not in the most receptive of mindsets- candidly- I was expecting the same fomulaic stuff that is factory produced and which ''passess itself off as much of contemporary Gospel Music does these days- Man was I thrilled after 1 complete listen. These are messages that speak directly to my Soul-Man!. My current favourite is track 14 but I cannot remember ever having an albulm where EVERY SINGLE SONG IS A WINNER/STIRRER! There are no 'B' songs on this album! Minister Fred has re-emerged to speak life from God's Word to us and remind us that It really is all about God. I am so thankful that the arrangements are such that songs from this album, in years to come, will be staples in our churches like Andre Crouch's "My Tribute" and Jack Hayford's "Majesty". Buy it! Listen to it! Have it minister to your dry places. I too am waiting on the Lord to show Himself Mighty in my situation...and when I am feeling exhausted and discourged I am so thankful that Brother Fred, out of his struggles and endurance, has used the gifts that God has given him to ease the burdens and pains of others and help us to re-focuss on the single most important Truth in the entire Universe which is that The Love of God is Unstoppable!Bless You Fred!
